Each year the University of Florence organises a lecture to pay homage to the memory of Antonio Cassese. The Antonio Cassese Lectures deal with topics dear to Antonio Cassese, such as the use of force and international humanitarian law, and always look at the practice of international law.
On 23 October 2019, the University of Florence will organise the Eighth Antonio Cassese Lecture on ‘Searching for a Legal Framework for Armed Drones‘.
The conference will feature a number of excellent keynote speakers.
The annual Antonio Cassese Lecture is organised by the Faculty of Political Sciences and the Faculty of Law of the University of Florence.
