The Antonio Cassese Initiative is home to all friends, colleagues and admirers of late Antonio Cassese.
The Initiative’s mission is to keep Nino’s memory alive by promoting his legacy through education and training, reflecting on his contributions, and inspiring future generations.
Promotes
Promotes the work and achievements of the groundbreaking and lasting Antonio Cassese, a pioneering international lawyer.
Perpetuates
Perpetuates the legacy of Antonio Cassese by promoting the Journal of International Criminal Justice, which he founded in 2003, and by awarding the Antonio Cassese Prize for International Criminal Law Studies and the Journal of International Criminal Justice Prize.
Provides
Provides education and training programs which instruct in areas dear to Antonio Cassese, including international human rights law, international criminal law, and transitional justice.
